Locco, a Malaysian event-management and digital-content company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesia’s Good?News?from?Indonesia (GNFI) and Seasia, two major positive-news platforms with more than 200 million monthly views.

The three organisations will collaborate to promote culture, arts, cuisine and tourist-attractions across Malaysia and Indonesia, sharing content and stories to build a positive regional narrative.

At the MoU-signing event in Kuala Lumpur, Syed?Azhar?Syed?Nadzir, President of Kuala?Lumpur?Tourism?Association (KLTA), was present and welcomed the move as a strategic boost to tourism between the two countries.

As a near-term goal, the partners plan to promote the annual event Keretapi?Sarong on 13 September 2025, expecting about 40,000 participants including a significant number from Indonesia.

The collaboration is also aligned with the upcoming Visit?Malaysia?Year?2026 initiative, and is seen as a means to strengthen tourism ties, cultural diplomacy and digital-media exchange in the ASEAN region.

About KLTA

The Kuala Lumpur Tourism Association (KLTA) is the oldest tourism industry association in the country. Established in 1963, the KLTA represented most of the industry players in the country at the time. This was because Kuala Lumpur was the main hub of tourism activity in the then newly formed Malaysia. Over the years the industry has grown and developed in all corners of our nation, necessitating more nationalized organizations to meet the requirements of the nationwide industry players.
