The launch event will see the unveiling of the campaign website (www.visitkltoday.com) and the flag-off of public transport vehicles (buses and taxies) that are dressed in the campaign brand colours and messaging.
The main objective of the campaign is to promote Kuala Lumpur as a domestic and international tourist destination. Utilizing several marketing communications vehicles such as online advertising, out-of-home media, point-of-sales materials, PR and content creation for social media channels, the campaign will strategically target groups of tourists from varied markets.
It is hoped that this campaign will lead to the re-entry of Kuala Lumpur in the World’s Top Ten Visited Cities list.
